Dark Red, Cream, and Christmas Details: A Modern Winter Wedding at Sydonie Mansion

When one of our couples takes a gorgeous spin on a classic theme, we are reminded why we love the work we do! Kayla and Steven had a modern winter wedding right out of a fairy tale, and the beautiful Sydonie Mansion made a lovely backdrop.

The creative minds at Cherish Events helped Kayla and Steven create the winter wonderland of their dreams right here in Florida. With 28 North Photography capturing each moment, the happy couple can look back at these memories forever.

The groomsmen looked sharp in classic blue suits with dark red bow ties and suspenders. Steven stood out in a three-piece suit and a rich red tie. Their looks were modern but timeless, just as wedding style should be.

The bridesmaids continue the punch of deep red with matching single-shouldered gowns. The lace detailing perfectly nodded to Kayla’s breathtaking gown. With open lacework on the bodice and a beautiful train, Kayla was a stunning bride! The hair and makeup artists from Hair on the Run brought out the dramatic wedding-day glow in all of the women. Their bouquets by Country Club Flower Shop were a lovely addition to their looks.

Before the ceremony, Kayla and Shawn snuck some sweet hand holding without seeing each other before their big moment. Their love for each other echoed throughout their entire day in lovely gestures like these.

Their ceremony took place on the Sydonie Mansion grounds in front of a lush greenery and romantic architecture. Kayla and Steven exchanged vows, devoted themselves to one another, and were pronounced husband and wife in front of all their dearest family and friends!

Their reception took guests inside for a gorgeous modern winter themed wedding, complete with twinkling lights, lots of greenery, and dots of glimmering gold.

Our White Linens paired with white chairs made the space feel so airy and bright—perfect for a Florida winter wedding!

A row of stately trees lined one wall, gently warming the room with their twinkling lights. This was just enough of a Christmas touch to bring a lovely sense of whimsy to the winter wedding.

Our dark red Napkins were folded elegantly on our Champagne Glitter Glass Charger, giving the tables just the right amount of pop and drama.

As a touching addition, Kayla and Steven had a sweetheart table all to themselves. Our Farm Table added a warm wood tone to the room, echoing the organic feeling of the trees and the beautiful Sydonie Mansion.

Guests gathered around to see the beautiful cake provided by Incredible Edible Cakes, and they danced the night away to Blast Productions. It was a fun-filled night and lots of memories were made!
