Boho to Black Tie: A Hindu Wedding Celebration

A beautiful four-day Hindu wedding celebration was hosted at The DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld. The wedding vision of Anisha and Tariq came to life seamlessly. Commencing with authentic bohemian vibes during the Hindu wedding ceremony, the atmosphere then evolved into a sophisticated black-tie boho setting for the all-night reception. This transformation, orchestrated by Designer Weddings by Carly Rose and skillfully captured by Jessica Jones Photographs, resulted in an event that exuded beauty, tradition, and an abundance of joyful moments.

DAY 1: MEHENDI NIGHT

To begin, the wedding festivities kicked off with the Mehendi Night. This is a Hindu pre-wedding custom. Anisha, along with friends and family, had her hands and feet painted with henna. Then, the night ended with dancing, singing, and delicious food. This enchanting night fostered togetherness while eagerly anticipating the upcoming wedding.

DAY 2: MATICOOR NIGHT

The following day brought the enchanting Maticoor Night, a ceremony designed to gracefully transition the bride-to-be into married life. During this, a symbolic ceremonial bath takes place, representing purification and readiness for the wedding rites. All in all, this event further deepened connections and provided blessings for Anisha’s journey to marriage.

Day 3: Hindu Boho Wedding Ceremony

On the third day, the Hindu wedding ceremony took place. Outdoors, a captivating boho-inspired theme graced the venue with a stage positioned at the aisle’s forefront. The color palette combined boho-muted tones with pops of red, white, cream, and tan. To commence, Anisha wore a stunning dress adorned with gold beads. Then changing to a beautiful red beaded dress to see her groom. The groom looked dashing in a traditional Indian Sherwani that harmonized with the bride’s attire. Following cherished Hindu customs, the couple was formally pronounced husband and wife, sealing their union with profound significance and boundless love.

Day 4: Black Tie Boho Reception

On the fourth day, the long-awaited wedding reception finally arrived. The occasion called for black-tie attire, and the bride looked radiant in her exquisite white beaded gown. Set indoors, the venue and decor captured the essence of their envisioned bohemian black tie theme. The tables boasted our Gold Starburst Glass Chargers, beautifully complementing the boho-inspired floral arrangements in shades of green, cream, and tan. As the evening unfolded, a sense of pure joy filled the air. The party goes on with dancing all night long, making unforgettable memories with cherished guests that will last forever.
