Tell us a little about yourself. How did you get your start in the event business?
Hi, I’m Amanda — owner of Scoops Wheely Good Ice Cream Cart, proudly serving in Tampa, Orlando and beyond! Florida has always been home to me, but it was during my five years in Charleston where I realized my love of weddings and celebrations! Through my experiences there, I saw firsthand how the little details often become the most memorable parts of an event. I have spent many years working in hospitality, events, and customer service, and I absolutely love helping create memorable experiences for people. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, birthday party, or community gathering, my goal is to bring a little extra joy to every celebration through delicious ice cream and fun, friendly service!
What do you love most about being in the event/wedding business?
We love being a part of a something beautiful! We love seeing guests light up when they see the cart, watching families and friends gather around for ice cream, and knowing we’ve added a fun and memorable touch to such an important day. Weddings are especially rewarding because every couple has a unique story, and it’s an honor to be a small part of that. Plus our cart makes a sweet photo op! Our service is a fun way to bring people together, add a little nostalgia and create a sweet memory guests will talk about long after the celebration is over.
If a bride/couple is considering a theme for their wedding, what is your best recommendation for incorporating a theme?
My biggest recommendation is to focus on subtle, meaningful details rather than trying to make every element fit the theme.
