Fairytale Pink Don Cesar Wedding

Rachel + Joseph

Every detail about Rachel and Joseph’s wedding was beyond romantic.  From their vintage red convertible that took them to the reception, to the amazing florals throughout, and the towering cake that needed a sword to cut it, this was just one stunning affair!  Rachel loves the color pink.  Not only is their chosen venue the most iconic hotel on St. Pete Beach, The Don Cesar, but it also happens to look just like a pink castle.  You won’t want to miss looking at Rachel and Joseph’s Fairytale Pink Don Cesar Wedding.  Let’s check out all the details.

Something Blue

Rachel took the old saying, “Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue” to heart.  She picked out the most gorgeous pair of shoes to wear that had delicate blue embroidered flowers.  Rachel chose an all satin gown with a sweetheart neckline and capped sleeves.  Her hair was pulled back into a soft chignon with a floral rhinestone and pearl pinned in crown.  Her fingertip length veil was also trimmed in tiny flowers. Rachel and her mom enjoyed getting ready together and making special memories.  The bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids all wore soft blush dresses in various styles.  Their bouquets were full of white, light pink, and cream roses.  Rachel’s bouquet also incorporated some light blue and purple flowers.

A Double Breasted Pinstripe Suit

Joseph selected a very sharp double-breasted pinstriped suit with gold buttons.  To match the bridal colors he wore a soft pink bow tie and pocket square.  His groomsmen wore solid colored navy suits with crisp white shirts and blush pink ties and pocket squares.  They complemented the bridesmaid’s dresses and it made for one perfect bridal party photo.

Cathedral Ceremony

Rachel and Joseph knew they had to get married at The Cathedral Church of St. Peter in St. Petersburg with its soaring ceilings and exposed wood beams.  Rachel made her way down the aisle on the arms of her parents.  Joseph couldn’t take his eyes off his beautiful bride as she approached the altar.  The couple exchanged vows and rings and first kisses in front of their friends and family.  After the ceremony, the couple exited the church to a white streamer send-off.  The couple then made their getaway to their reception in a vintage red convertible.

A Fairytale Pink Reception

Back at the Don Cesar, cocktail hour commenced with our Gold Chiavari Highboys elegantly arranged around tables adorned with white lace covers. Inside, their reception room was transformed into a dreamy, rose filled garden.  Vines were draped from the railings, chandeliers, cornices and our Cosmo Bar.  Lighted taper candles lined the long tables casting a romantic glow. Lace tablecloths lined each King Folding Table. Round tables were set with our Gold Clear Lace Glass Chargers and soft blush pink table linens. The bride and groom’s table sat perched on a small stage filled with roses, roses, and more roses.  At each place setting were our Gold Alpine Leaf Glass Chargers, gold flatware, and pink napkins. Rachel and Joseph’s expression when they walked into the reception says it all.  It was truly a Fairytale Pink Don Cesar Wedding Reception!

Toasting the Newlyweds

So much love and laughter filled the reception. Guests looked on as Rachel and Joseph floated through their first dance.  A light hearted cake cutting ceremony included using a giant sword to cut their soaring five tier cake.  Champagne flowed as toasts were offered and glasses kept clinked cheers. As evidenced in the final reception photo of the night, everyone had the best time celebrating these newlyweds.  Congratulations to Rachel and Joseph!  We are honored to have been a part of your Fairytale Pink Don Cesar Wedding!
