Introducing The Flower Studio – A top wedding florist in Central Florida

We love having a good chat with our favorite vendors, and this time, we had the opportunity to speak with event and wedding florist Andie Muller of The Flower Studio! Andie is among the top wedding florists in Central Florida and has so many great tips to share!

How did you get your start in the event business?

Central Florida is a big wedding/event location. Other than the residents getting married here, it is a huge destination spot for people all over the world. Since I was a retail florist already, branching out to weddings and events was easy. Excellent customer service, professionalism and networking were and still are the 3 most important areas for me.

What do you love most about being in the event/wedding business?

Every celebration is different. We can have 10 weddings that are blush, burgundy, and ivory, but the details are what really make the wedding come to life. So I have to say the challenge that every single one gives me. It is fun!

If a bride is considering a theme to their wedding, what is your best recommendation for incorporating a theme?

Details – color, texture, harmony. It has to look good! And of course, make the couple happy.

What approach do you advise in order for it to be tasteful and yield an amazing ­looking event?

Don’t overdo it. Less is more. Sometimes. Of course, you can never have enough flowers, but knowing the priorities is the key.

When people inquire about your services, what can they expect?

They will get the same service and attention as I would want to get. I am a shopper, too. I know if I have a business/vendor that will answer all my questions and concerns, treat me with respect and listen to what I need and make it happen, I will be happy. So the same experience is what I want to provide. I aim for 5-star quality always.

What is your best advice to avoid planning stress for any special event?

You said it: planning. Hire a planner to help you and to guide you, so you can enjoy the journey and have fun! And I will add one more: trust your vendors. We are professionals and we know what our job is.
