Where did you meet your fiancée?
USF TAMPA in 2009.
How did you know he was the one for you?
I think I just knew, I was the happiest I had been in a long time, and the happiness and butterfly’s I got around him never went away, even almost 10 years later!
What are the things you have in common?
We both love to hunt and fish. We also both love to spend time just hanging out together and trying new things!
How did he propose?
We were celebrating nine years together so we dropped our daughter Julianna off for her first overnight stay at Lolli & Pops house and headed to our favorite “Stay-Cation” spot at the Marriott Hotel in Sand Key. We checked in and went to the pool/pool bar where we ate and drank the afternoon away. It was kind of chilly and TJ insisted we stay for one more drink, even though I was ready to go up and get ready for dinner. We finally headed up stairs as I was getting in the elevator he said he had to run to the car to get his jacket. I walked into the room and thought it was weird that the connecting doors leading to the bedroom was closed, so I opened them and walked into the room where there was Champagne on ice, candles everywhere as well as my favorite purple roses and rose petals scattered everywhere. I heard TJ come in and turned around and he had our daughter in his arms (Who I thought was with Lolli & Pops!) and was on one knee. I was so surprised and happy to see Julianna that it took me a second to realize what was happening, it was the sweetest thing ever and I was completely surprised. This evening was followed by my favorite dinner at Columbia restaurant!
What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?
What inspired your wedding colors?
My wedding colors are Plum Purple, Silver, White – I was inspired by my favorite color, which is a plum Purple. Plum, Silver & White create in my mind a modern day winter wonderland which is my vision for my wedding.
