December 2019 – Celina and Chris Wedding Rental Winners

Where did you meet your fiancée? 

Chris and I met online, but our first date was the Veteran Memorial Park in Sanford.

How did you know he was the one for you?

I knew on our first date. We got along as though we had been friends forever. He has been my best friend ever since.

What are the things you have in common?

What brought us together initially was that we are both veterans. He served in the infantry with the 101st Airborne. I served with the 560 and 557 RED HORSE Squadron. It didn’t take us long to find other common interests. We both love camping, beach days, and tacos.

How did he propose?

He proposed at the Veteran Memorial Park where we had our first date. Chris had been bitten by a rare tick and spent two months on life support and in the ICU at the VA hospital. When he proposed, it was the first time he walked on his own after his illness.

What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most? 

What inspired your wedding colors?

Our colors are rose gold, rose, and gold. These colors felt almost antique when I looked at them. That is why I chose them.
