Where did you meet your fiancée?
In Tampa, FL at a friend’s house – I was there visiting my best friend Nicole and was supposed to go back home to Orlando that afternoon, but Nicole convinced me to stay one more night. We ended up going over to their friends’ house where I met Daniel. The rest is history!
How did you know he was the one for you?
His overall demeanor on the night I met him was fun and playful, which is half of the equation (an important half!), and I liked it… but was interested to see his more serious side. After our first date, it was confirmed that the more serious half was everything I’d been looking for – he loves his family and God, is intelligent, has a strong work ethic… the list goes on. He was the entire package!
What are the things you have in common?
Our friends and family are the most important “things” to us. We love to get out of the house on a Friday night with friends, but equally love to stay in on a Saturday night with a puzzle and a bottle of wine. We have a lot of similarities but truthfully he’s type A and I am as type B as it gets. As cheesy as it sounds, we really just balance each other well.
How did he propose?
He proposed on a cold January day when he had me convinced we were en route to watch football. Our families (who hadn’t met yet) were secretly waiting at a hotel nearby for champagne and celebrations! He couldn’t have planned a better proposal.
What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?
Seeing Daniel at the end of the aisle. It makes me want to cry just thinking about it!!
What inspired your wedding colors?
I wanted a very classic and simple wedding color palette. It was also really easy making decisions without having to think about too much color (pro tip for all my other indecisive brides).
