Alyson & Joseph
Some things just go together. Peanut butter and jelly. Coffee and cream. Salt and pepper. And after Alyson and Joseph’s wedding reception at The Howey Mansion, we are adding “navy blue and blush pink wedding colors” to the list. Each detail was perfectly planned. And thanks to Melanie Paige Events, they were executed beautifully. The images from Matlock and Kelly Photography are breathtaking!
All the navy blue and blush pink details
First, if we are going to talk navy blue and blush pink wedding details, we have to talk about about the flowers! In Bloom Florist designed delicate bouquets filled with sweet cream and blush-colored blooms. Beautiful!
Of course, the floral was picture perfect with the bridesmaid’s blush gowns from Azazie and Alyson’s Maggie Sottero gown from Minerva’s Bridal. Her lace gown was stunning! Finally, LeJeune Artistry added all the beautiful touch-ups.
Now, we can’t forget about our handsome groom, Joseph, in his navy blue suit. To complete the look, he added a pink tie. And peep those flamingo socks – so stylish and fun!
After getting all dressed up, the next thing for Alyson and Joseph was their ceremony at St Margaret Mary Catholic Church. And following their vows, it was time to celebrate!
Blush and Navy Cocktail hour
Now, The Howey Mansion is known for its romantic aesthetic. So many couples choose this venue for their nuptials for that reason.
Alyson and Joseph’s reception dinner was set under the tent in the courtyard. In keeping with the navy blue and blush pink wedding theme, navy tablecloths covered the round tables. And our Gold Chiavari Chairs with White Chiavari Chair Pads were an ideal seating choice.
On the tables, Gold Rim Glass Chargers and Brushed Gold Flatware paired with blush accents and candlelight, of course!
The sweetheart table featured our Atlanta Settee for the sweethearts. With lace linens and a gorgeous floral, the space was ready.
Inside the historic home, Arthur’s Catering passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour while guests took selfies against the Green Boxwood Hedge Wall with a custom neon sign. It was the perfect photo op!
Speaking of perfect, the desserts from Bertsos Bakeshop and A Sweet Whim were works of art! And we knew that they would taste as good as they looked!
Tented Reception
As the sun went down, the guests moved outside for dinner. And our bride and groom made sure the keep their wedding guests comfortable with our Mushroom Gas Heaters placed throughout the tent. Cozy!
While dinner was served, glasses were raised in a toast to the newlyweds.
But soon, it was time to close out the evening. And the best way to say goodnight to Alyson and Joseph was under a tunnel of sparklers.
