Benefiting The Phoenix Tampa Bay

Everyone who attended the Fit To Be King charity event benefitting The Phoenix Tampa Bay felt like royalty. This event raised crucial funds to help those in Tampa Bay struggling with substance abuse disorders. The Phoenix combats the isolation, shame, and hopelessness that often surrounds substance use and can perpetuate relapse. Supporting the Phoenix Tampa aides in resilience and harnessing the power of connection so that together, we rise, recover and live.

The Color of Royalty

This event called for rich shades of purple and gold, which immediately gave the feeling of a royal reception. Guests were welcomed into a large ballroom at Armature Works with both round and long rectangular tables. The tables were covered in glittery purple and gold linens with statement floral centerpieces. At each place setting were our Gold Scallop Chargers and Gold Rim Water Goblets. Dark purple velvet napkins with crown napkin rings sat in the center of each charger.

Puppy Therapy

Who can say no to loving sweet puppies? These guests sure couldn’t! Sweet puppies were brought to the event and everyone was snuggling them, grabbing selfies, and giving them lots of pets and attention. This area was to help Mercy Full Project Animal Rescue and was such a fun addition to the event.

Photo Booth Cookies

A fun twist on the traditional Photo Booth was having the pictures printed on cookies after. Attendees had fun donning crowns and other royal props to say cheese. After, volunteers placed the photos onto delicious frosted sugar cookies to take home or enjoy right there. Such a unique memento of the night!

Together We Rise

What a fun night for raising money to benefit The Phoenix Tampa Bay. This organization will use the funds raised to support their group fitness classes, strength training, yoga, and socials, that aid in the joy of addiction recovery. A Chair Affair was honored to be a part of this mission and the Fit To Be A King Charity event.
