Saying Goodbye to a memorable year
It’s that time of year when we say goodbye to 2024 and hello to 2025. Looking back at the year, we have had some amazing memories of different events and weddings that we have been part of. We at A Chair Affair have been honored to provide wedding and event rentals to everyone and help them create the best memories of their year as well. Now, without further ado join us as we take a look at the 2024 Recap at A Chair Affair, and look back at some of our favorite weddings and events of the year.
A corpse BRIDE-INSPIRED wedding at the Highland Manor
First, let’s take a look back at A Corpse Bride Inspired Wedding at The Highland Manor. This couple was a fan of the movie and included small aspects of it in their wedding, including their small dog zero. They had a magnificent outdoor wedding under a gorgeous oak tree. Followed by their spectacular reception. We helped tie the color theme together with all our wedding rentals. Our Blue Sea Sponge Charger, Regal Gold Fine China Salad Plates, Gold Rim Stemware, Blue Vintage Goblet, Brushed Gold Flatware, and Sparta Blue Lamour Napkins paired perfectly to set the table scene. Next, they danced amongst the fog and sparklers and captivated their guests with their first dance. Lastly, the final added touch from a Corpse Bride is that the vows said between the characters, were hung behind their wedding cake.

Asolo Repertory Theater annual gala
Next on our list of events is this Asolo Repertory Theater Annual Gala. This event was a night of success! Unlike other years, 2024 ended up being the largest grossing auction to date. They ended up raising over 700,000 to go towards the theatre. The night was also filled with dancing, entertainment, and music. It truly was magnificent to see everyone come together as a community and give back. We had the honor of contributing our Clear Chiavari Chairs, and Black Pads to the event.

Great GATSBY-INSPIRED wedding at the birchwood
Last but not least, another one of our favorites was this Great Gatsby Inspired Wedding at The Birchwood. Our grooms Al and Dave had a spectacular weekend extravaganza with their guests. First, starting with a rehearsal dinner with a view of the water. Followed by their 1920’s inspired wedding ceremony. With guests dressed in fringe dresses, and dazzling headpieces it captured the feel of being in The Great Gatsby. The moody ceremony had black draped walls with flowers and candles placed in front. Our Black Ghost Chairs were used for seating during the union. Then came the reception which included swing dancing, conga lines, and champagne towers. It was a night that everyone would remember. To conclude the weekend they had a send-off brunch for all their guests who attended. This wedding was one for the books and one we won’t forget going into the new year.

To conclude this 2024 Recap At A Chair Affair we want to thank every person who included us in their amazing wedding and events.
