Where did you meet your fiancée?

Johnny and I are actually high school sweethearts! We had many ups and downs because of cultural barriers, but in the end, we were able to overcome all obstacles and here we are, almost 30 days away from saying I do!

How did you know he was the one for you?

There is a special connection that’s kind of unexplainable… I think we were always meant to be and that no matter what distance, or amount of time we spent not speaking between chasing our education and careers, we always pulled back on the string that connect us. He makes me all the things I wish I could be a reality and I admire his ability to bring me closer to the things I desire!

What are the things you have in common?

Besides reciting Harry Potter, dreaming, and speaking of the universe in ways others might not understand, we have the same drive and passion to accomplish the goal we have set for ourselves: help as many people as we can in this world.

How did he propose?

Up in the sky in an air balloon, it was the most beautiful thing ever! It was our first time air ballooning and we’ve been wanting to do it for a while, so for it to happen in this manner, was the best.

What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?

Finally having our family and friends see us marry each other because it’s been a long time coming!

What inspired your wedding colors?

Because Johnny is Italian and I’m Turkish background, the Mediterranean really inspired our choice. The gold and satin navy, with touches of stone, we wanted to have the perfect blend of both our cultures.
