Rachel and Brandon’s rustic pink and Blue Skyline Ranch wedding
Rachel and Brandon chose to celebrate their beautiful love story with a stunning Skyline Ranch wedding in Groveland, Florida. When they saw the big blue skies and crystal clear lake, they knew that this was the place to tie the knot! Lisa Marshall Photograph captured the essence of this day perfectly.
Their story began at the mere age of five, when they were in the same kindergarten class. Rachel still remembers running up to her parents and telling them that her blonde haired crush, Brandon, had asked her to marry him. Never did she think that – eighteen years later – she’d be standing next him, saying “I do.” Since that sweet moment in kindergarten, she’d always had a constant reminder of Brandon in her life, whether it was a best friend related to him or his mom teaching at her school. Finally, they started dating in college – and and three years later, he proposed.
Rachel and her bridesmaids got ready early on that exquisite morning. She looked absolutely glowing in a princess gown with just a hint of light pink. Her makeup – by Makeup by Yurisahm – and her hair – by Allie Katt – made Rachel look like royalty. Her bridesmaids looked stunning in navy blue infinity dresses, complementing the bride perfectly with bouquets of pink and white roses from Blue Ribbon Wedding & Event Design finishing off their look. The dapper groom, dressed in a dark blue suit, and handsome groomsmen, in navy checked shirts, made for a striking picture.
Minted created the most perfect stationary for this celebration, with leafy green details and pops of light pink. The wedding, planned by Blue Ribbon Wedding & Event Design, was elegantly executed, with pops of navy blue and light pink everywhere. The ceremony was held outside, overlooking the gorgeous lake, with our mahogany folding chairs placed between the trees.
After the ceremony, guests proceeded to the lovely waterside reception. The tables, draped in white linen, were decorated with rustic light pink and white flower box centerpieces. Unique navy and gold place settings were used to complement the elegant – yet rustic – theme. Soon, it was time for the guests to enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by 4 Rivers Smokehouse. The sophisticated cake, created by Publix, made for a tasty dessert.
The rest of the night was danced away thanks to the Orlando Classic Disc Jockeys. Before everyone knew it, it was time for Rachel and Brandon to say their goodbyes and jet off on an amazing honeymoon.
We wish Rachel and Brandon many more years of happiness! We would also like give a special thanks to Orange Blossom Bride for featuring this beautiful Skyline Ranch wedding on their blog.
