Orlando Museum of Art: Shannon and Luke

Every love story is beautiful and Shannon and Luke’s is one of our favorites. Who would have thought that 11 years after meeting, you’d get married at the same place where you and your loved one exchanged your first glance. Shannon and Luke didn’t see it coming but it sure was a sweet surprise. The loving couple said their vows at the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando on a brilliant January day. When it came down to the reception space they immediately fell in love with the Orlando Museum of Art. In one glimpse they knew it was “stunning, spacious, and magical”. Amalie Orrange Photography saved every moment in these gorgeous photos.

Shannon looked every bit of stunning in her lace gown from Jim Hjelm. The Bridesmaids certainly didn’t take the backseat in this occasion, their neutral toned Adrianna Papell dresses were absolutely amazing. M3 MakeUp gave the bridal party a fresh look with soft up-dos, a must for any exquisite soirée.

Shannon and Luke kept their wedding timeless while still making it sweet and personal. The reception space was a cloud of whites, ivory, and hints of blush pink. Walking in was like entering a grand reverie. The romantic white and blush roses from The Rose Company paired with hand-painted champagne lanterns and tea lights were the center of attention for every table.

Shannon and Luke also included wine bottles with custom labels at every table for their guests to enjoy and keep as memory of the special day. Over The Top provided the cascading ivory linens. They went perfectly with the décor and the shimmering silver chiavari chairs from yours truly at A Chair Affiar.

As a valued part of the team at Swanky I Do’s, this definitely wasn’t Shannon’s first experience with weddings. Being involved in such a big day in someone’s life is such a heart-warming feeling. Doing that for a fellow Orlando wedding industry expert was undeniably the icing on the cake. We were so honored to help make Shannon and Luke’s day every bit of personal and magical and we thank all of the vendors that worked to make this dream a reality.
