Sunset Wedding at Opal Sands Resort

Summer is coming and that means more sunset weddings!!  With so many beautiful venues on the West Coast of Florida, couples are guaranteed a picture perfect ceremony. That’s just what Lauren and Neil got for their wedding at the beautiful Opal Sands Resort. With the sparkling waters of Clearwater Beach as their backdrop and the talented team from Special Moments Event Planning making sure everything fell into place; their wedding day was fabulous. The amazing Brian C Idocks Photographics captured some of our favorite pictures and we just couldn’t wait to share them!

The wedding ceremony faced the beautiful water, with a gorgeous ivy and floral circular arch marking the spot for Lauren to meet her husband to be. Her gorgeous capped sleeve gown with lace details was classically beautiful. Neil couldn’t take his eyes off his breathtaking bride.

As the sun set the couple were produced husband and wife; then it was time to celebrate! The ballroom at the beautiful Opal Sands Resort was set in the most stunning shade of royal blue. The tables were covered in our brilliant Royal Blue Linens and set with our Gold Round Belmont Chargers and Brushed Gold Flatware. The guests took a seat in our Gold Chiavari Chairs and waited for the newlyweds to make their grand entrance into the ballroom.

Following dinner, all the guests enjoyed the dance floor while  Grant Hemond and Associates played a wonderful mix of current songs and a few classics. Stopping only to cut their gorgeous buttercream cake from  Chantilly Cakes and then it was time to dance again! Neil and Lauren did have a few stolen moments where they were able to reflect on the day’s events and celebrate one another.

It was a gorgeous celebration and we are honored to have been part of it. We wish Neil and Lauren many more beautiful sunsets in their long and happy marriage.
