Magical Mermaid Birthday At Carlouel Yacht Club

It was Savannah’s 5th birthday and she wanted nothing more than to have a mermaid-themed party. Parties A’ La Carte made her dream come true and pulled together the most amazing Magical Mermaid Birthday at Carlouel Yacht Club. It was the perfect location, as it was right by the water where mermaids thrive best. Green Pearl Photography was there capturing all the special moments from her memorable birthday. Let’s take a look at this amazing 5th birthday party.

Decorations and table set-up

Walking into the party there is a beautiful balloon wall placed for a photo op spot with different colors of pastel pink, blue, and purple. Beside the balloons is a pink beaded arch with a netting behind it and a small clamshell beside it. Then on the other side is a purple-detailed arch with another small clamshell towards the bottom. When placed all together it turned out to be the perfect area to capture amazing memories. Then, there are kids’ tables set up throughout the grass. They have mermaid sequin linen draped over the table and shell-detailed plates. Around the kid’s tables were our White Children’s Chiavari Chairs. For the adult tables, a gorgeous pastel pink linen was draped over the table, and our White Chiavari Chairs were used for seating. The centerpieces elevated the look by having pink clamshell flower holders containing pastel flowers.

ACTIVITIES

When you think of mermaids you think of water, so having water slides was the perfect activity for the kids. There was a large white slide, that had inflatable mermaid tails beside it. Then there was also a smaller slide that had a clamshell chair at the bottom and blow-up beach balls that had mermaid scales and glitter on them. Also included was a water table, where kids could go fishing with small poles or just splash around with the different cups and accessories. Lastly, Savannah and her friends had the opportunity to have water balloon fights. Reusable water balloons were used so the kids could keep on having fun throughout the whole day.

Treats

There was an endless amount of treats brought in for this amazing party. Starting with her very own cotton candy stand! The kids could go and choose from a few different flavors and watch as their very own cotton candy was made. Then Savannah had a two-tier birthday cake, that had mermaid tails, seahorses, starfish, and lots of shell detailing on it. If they didn’t want cake some cupcakes were available and had adorable little starfish designs on the tops of them. Lastly, it wouldn’t be a birthday party without a piñata! There were two Clamshells hung from the trees, for the kids to hit and eventually have them explode with candy. There was no shortage of sweats, but they were a hit with all the kids. Because what kid doesn’t love all the sugar?

When the birthday party came to an end, Savannah gave her friends the cutest party favors. Everyone was allowed to grab a seashell bag that had candy and goodies stuffed inside. It was the perfect way to end the party.

All in all, this Magical Mermaid Birthday at The Carlouel Yacht Club turned out exactly as Savannah had dreamed. Happy Birthday to this special little girl! We are so thrilled to have been included in this party and provide all the event rentals in the Clearwater area.
