Travis and Elizabeth’s Black Tie and Burgundy Harry Potter Wedding

There is no doubt that the beautiful Bella Collina is one of Central Florida most romantic wedding venues, and when it comes to planning romantic weddings, the outstanding team from Blush by Brandee Gaar is hands down one of the best. So, we knew Elizabeth and Travis were in the best hands for their romantic burgundy and black tie ceremony, with a Harry Potter wedding reception to follow. We are so glad that Nate Puhr Photography was there to capture all the details!

The Wedding Ceremony

Travis and Elizabeth took a few moments before the wedding ceremony to have their first look with their wedding party present. First looks can help calm the pre-wedding jitters. Then it was time to the wedding ceremony! Elizabeth wore a beautiful white lace gown, and carried a bouquet filled with deep burgundy floral and feathery accents. Escorted by her mother and father, it was a touching moment to have her father take place at the alter as the officiant of the wedding ceremony. With a wedding guest list of just 37, this intimate wedding was a special moment shared by their closest family and friends.

The Reception

After the vows, it was time to celebrate! We adored the couple’s Harry Potter wedding reception. The theme began with the seating chart; scrolls directing the wedding guests to their assigned tables.

Speaking of tables, their wedding guests were greeted with wood tables, covered in a gorgeous burgundy runner from Ocean Hawks Rentals, paired with our Black Sea Sponge Chargers and Burgundy napkins wrapped in a gold tassel and a scroll from Dogwood Blossom Stationery. Our Baroque Gold flatware, Black Goblets, and Gold Rim stemware completed the romantic look for their Harry Potter wedding reception.

The amazing Sugar Sugar Cake Boutique created a gorgeous wedding cake, going with Travis and Elizabeth’s theme. Handwritten quotes from Albus Dumbledore were written in the center tier of the wedding cake, while two golden snitches were perched on either side. It is always a joy to see couple’s bringing in a reception theme that brings them both joy.

The evening was filled with love and laughter.Travis and Elizabeth danced the night away, with the energetic Our DJ Rocks providing the entertainment. When it was time to say good night, the couple shared one last dance to the romantic “Flightless Bird” by Iron and Wine and the guests prepared for the grand sparkler exit. It was a perfect night to celebrate Elizabeth and Travis and we are honored to have been part of their wedding day!
