Farmhouse Tropical Harborside Chapel Styled Shoot
Typically, when we start talking with clients and vendors about tropical floral designs and bright and vivid wedding colors, our minds travel to the white beaches of St Pete Beach, or to the east side of the Sunshine State, to the waters of St Augustine Beach. We were excited when the planning duo from Designs by A, along with the talented team of Matlock and Kelly Photography approached us with the designs for a tropical meets farmhouse chic wedding styled shoot and the beautiful Harborside Chapel. This was a shoot we couldn’t wait to see come together.
The Jillted Florist used bright birds of paradise, vivid lilies and colorful orchids for the floral designs, creating a sweet heart table swag that had us hearing the waves crashing on the beach and the salt air kissing our cheeks at the Harborside Chapel’s lush lawn. The flowers were paired with a beautiful hand-lettered runner from Scrawled and Scripted that included the elegant words from William Shakespeare, gracefully set on top of our Monaco Sweetheart table with the always popular French country chairs . We loved the way these elements came together so perfectly.
Another surprise, yet delightful element was the beautiful cake from The Sconeage Bakery topped with the sweet macarons from Nicole Macaron Co. These delicious treats were given center-stage on our 4’X4′ Mahogany Farm Table, paired with a flowy muslin runner and a wreathe of tropical leaves. This look was at the rustic backdrop of the beautiful Harborside Chapel, but we can definitely see it on the white sands of the beach too.
It’s always a joy to work with Central Florida’s top wedding vendors, whether it be for a wedding, corporate event or a styled shoot like this one; we always walk away with a smile and some great ideas to share with our clients to make their events top notch.
