Amy & Scott
What’s more elegant than a black and gold wedding? This striking and classic look is perfect for any time of year. We have seen many gorgeous wedding venues and the Winter Park Farmers Market is one of our favorites! Our couple, Amy and Scott, fell in love with this Winter Park beauty. And you will too. With a wedding dream team, led by the talented ladies from At Last Wedding + Event Design. Every elegant detail was crafted beautifully. Thanks to Dovetail Photo, we have them to share with you today!
White & Green Wedding Floral
When it comes to floral for a black and gold wedding, you can’t go wrong with a classic white bouquet. And Colonial Florist created a dreamy bouquet for our bride. Filled with soft white roses and sprigs of greenery.
Against Amy’s wedding gown from The White Magnolia, the wedding floral popped. From the plunging neckline to the delicately dotted veils, Amy was a blushing bride. And speaking of blush. Kristy’s Artistry took this classic beauty and gave her a fitting classic wedding day look. With soft makeup and a side-swiped updo that we couldn’t stop talking about.
But we can’t forget Amy and Scott’s wedding party. The ladies wore stunning black gowns in varying styles. And her bridesman was dashing in a classic black tux. Scott and his groomsmen all opted for a black suit and tie. From the group shots taken by Dovetail Photo, it was one of the best-looking wedding parties we have seen!
Black & Gold Reception
Following the church ceremony at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, the bride and groom along with their wedding guests made their way to the Winter Park Farmers Market. This historic venue is a favorite for intimate wedding celebrations. The brick walls and wood sliding doors are all original pieces of this former train depot. And a perfect venue for Amy and Scott’s black and gold wedding.
First, to create the classic design, tables were covered in Black Linen. Second, our Black Chiavari Chairs with Black Chair Pads were added. And finally, to complete the black and gold look, our Brushed Gold Flatware and Matte Black China. This created a sophisticated wedding design.
And we can’t forget our bride and groom. Our Green Boxwood Hedge Walls were placed behind their sweetheart table. While a custom neon sign introducing the newly Mr. and Mrs. Fisher hung above. A picture-perfect spot!
Sweet Surprises
After their meal, Amy and Scott had a surprise for their wedding guests. Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream was scooped and served to the couple’s friends. And it was the perfect sweet treat after such a sweet evening.
But soon, the evening was to come to an end.
And we couldn’t think of a better way to finish this black and gold wedding than with a shower of gold confetti. Wrapping up their memorable day in the most memorable way.
