Dr Phillips Center Colorful Wedding

A wedding full of color, fun, and love all wrapped into one. Chris and Ashley couldn’t think of a more perfect venue other than the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. It was a dream and the day was as magical as it was beautiful. Steve Miller Photography captured the entire day with the help of the videographer, Mandy of Love & Lustre Weddings, and Tracy of Eventfully Yours. Together, they made sure everything went smoothly.

Getting Ready

What better way to start your big day than with your favorite people? At the Sheraton Orlando North Hotel, Ashley spent her morning getting glammed up with the help of the team at Gabriella Anthoney’s Design Artistry. All while, Chris was getting ready at aLoft Downtown Orlando which is right next to the Dr Phillips Center. The bride and groom wrote each other heartfelt cards and read them before going to see one another before their ceremony.

Dr Phillips Center First Look

It was time for the bride and groom to have a sneak peek before they said their “I do’s”. Ashley headed down the iconic staircase at the Dr. Phillips Center which lead her to Chris. She tapped him on the shoulder and with tears in his eyes and a smile on his face, Chris saw his bride for the first time.

The Ceremony

It was time to tie the knot! The ceremony was held on the outdoor balcony of the Kessler Tier, which has beautiful views of downtown Orlando. In Bloom Florist did a wonderful job decorating with colorful and stunning floral arrangements spread out along the aisle as well as the altar. As Ashley walked out, everyone’s eyes were on her. Harri Rubi of Sensational Ceremonies officiated the wedding while Ashley and Chris exchanged their own personal vows & rings. Additionally, there was also a coin-swapping ceremony and lasso ceremony with their parents. This was such a heartwarming ceremony full of so much love.

Cocktail Hour & Reception

While the newlyweds took a few portraits, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with a Mariachi Band. It was then time to head up to the reception. The DeVos Family room inside the Dr. Phillips Center was beautifully decorated with our chairs and decor throughout the room. DJ Jim with Fyerfly Productions transformed the room into party mode with their custom gobos and stars on the wall as well as their uplighting! Ashley and Chris walked into the room and their smiles said it all! They had their first dance as husband and wife in front of their family and friends. They were beaming with love.

As the sun set the party began! There were glow sticks, LED party shades, and dancing. With that, the newlyweds and their guests had a wonderful time dancing and capturing fun & memorable pictures in a photo booth provided by DJ Jim with Fyerfly Productions! A beautiful day and a great night was had by all!

Last Dance

The vision of their wedding day came to life. When it was time for the guests to leave, Ashley and Chris enjoyed one last dance in the ballroom together. Soaking in their beautiful day in each other’s arms was the perfect way to end the day. When their dance ended and it was time to leave, they were surprised by colorful streamers flying in the air.
