Alfond inn wedding – A Romantic Affair in Winter Park
We are so excited to share with you the ethereal, romantic Alfond Inn wedding of our couple, Ashley and Andy! They chose to exchange their vows at the gorgeous First Congregational Church Winter Park, and then proceeded to the dreamy Alfond Inn for a reception that will leave you breathless. Runway Events did a phenomenal job of planning every minute of this special day, and Caroline Logan Photography captured the beauty of it all from start to finish.
Andy and Ashley met by chance: they lived at the same apartment complex in Charleston, South Carolina, and both decided to cool off at the pool on a summer day. Andy (in the first of two important questions he would ask Ashley in their relationship) asked Ashley if the chair next to her was available. With one glance at the man in front of her, Ashley immediately said yes, and so it began! Soon enough, Andy was asking Ashley to be his wife, invitations from Rebecca Hinson Art were printed, and the wedding planning had begun!
The room was filled with excitement as the bride and her bridesmaids enjoyed hair and makeup by The Makeover Station and Makeup by Demi. The bridesmaids looked pretty in pink with dresses from Azazie, and the bride looked ethereal in her lace wedding gown designed by Hayley Paige from Calvet Couture. The groom and his party completed the stunning bridal party, looking handsome and dapper in their suits from The Black Tux.
The bouquets created by The Flower Studio, filled with white and blush-toned roses, gave a subtle elegance that matched Ashley superbly.
After the ceremony, the party began at the Alfond Inn. The jazz band, Breezeway Trio, started the night as the guests enjoyed delicious food from the chefs. The wedding cake was graceful and delicate, and Le Petit Sweet created custom, pink roses that put this cake over the top!
The table settings were full of whites, blushes and silver accents. Stunning flower centerpieces and our crystal candelabras took the decor to the next level. Over the Top Linens supplied beautiful, white linen for the event, and our silver metallic Chiavari chairs and silver Belmont chargers gave the perfect sparkle to this elegant day.
The guests had fun with the Click! Photo Booth, and danced the night away with the help of DJ Live Productions. When it was finally time to say their goodbyes, Ashley and Andy left the celebration under a shower of sparklers and well wishes from their guests.
