More importantly, this spectacular evening served as a major fundraiser for the St. Pete Free Clinic, an organization dedicated to providing health care, food, and support to our neighbors in need.

To pull off such a massive undertaking, A Chair Affair partnered with a dream team of vendors to create a setting as sharp as the competition itself. Thus, from the moment guests stepped past our lush hedge walls, they knew they were part of something life-changing.

Transforming the Historic Coliseum

The St. Petersburg Coliseum is famous for its soaring arches and expansive floor, but filling that space requires a strategic eye for design. Therefore, we anchored the room using 50 of our signature 4×8 Mahogany Farm Tables. These hand-crafted wooden tables provided a rustic, grounded contrast to the grandeur of the venue. To ensure every guest sat in comfort while supporting the St. Pete Free Clinic, we paired the tables with 470 French Country Chairs. Additionally, the Ivory Chair Pads added a touch of refined softness, perfectly complementing the venue’s purple-hued ambient lighting.

Next, to define the space and add a pop of organic texture, we strategically placed four of our Hedge Walls. These served as the perfect backdrop for donor photos and helped transition the vast ballroom into a more intimate dining and competition area.

A Masterclass in Event Collaboration

An event of this scale succeeds only when every vendor works in perfect harmony. Reimagined Experiences spearheaded the night, ensuring that every detail—from the trivia flow to the guest journey—was flawlessly executed. As the competition heated up, Best AV provided the crystal-clear sound and vibrant visuals necessary to keep the scoreboard in sight and the energy high.

While the “battle” raged on, the atmosphere remained upbeat thanks to the smooth sounds of The Danny Bub Combo. Their live performance filled the hall, proving that even a high-stakes fundraiser deserves a world-class soundtrack.

Culinary Excellence and Martini Magic

Of course, no evening at the Coliseum is complete without spectacular food. Lynn’s Catering delivered a menu that delighted the senses, but the real showstopper was the dessert presentation. A Chair Affair provided 450 Martini Glasses to elevate the final course of the night.

Seeing hundreds of these elegant glasses lined up across the farm tables created a stunning visual rhythm. Each glass held a vibrant, layered dessert that looked almost too good to eat. This creative use of glassware turned a simple sweet treat into a focal point of the table design, proving that the right rentals can truly redefine a dining experience.
