Did you know flowers are magic? Meredith and her team from Springvine Design Orlando are creating magic every day with their breathtaking floral creations. Established in 2017, they have recently made their way to the Sunshine State and we are so excited to see what they will create here!
TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF
First of all, we are native Floridians! We love bringing light and color to the City Beautiful. We specialize in weddings and events. And coming soon, we will be introducing floral subscriptions! Make sure to follow us for updates!
HOW DID YOU GET YOUR START IN THE EVENT BUSINESS?
Springvine Design started in 2017. We had previously worked in the event industry before transitioning to floral! Prior to moving down to Orlando, we worked in Charlotte, Greenville and Asheville.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT BEING IN THE EVENT/WEDDING BUSINESS?
We love seeing a dream turn into a reality. We love watching how each event vendor brings their best to the event. It is all so magical!
If a bride/couple is considering a theme for their wedding, what is your best recommendation for incorporating a theme?
Balance is key. Find the subtleties as well as your focal points. Much like floral arrangements, you have to have both. Your eye will be drawn to the focal but it will be supported by the subtleties to make it a complete vision!
What approach do you advise in order for it to be tasteful and yield an event that looks amazing?
Three words; SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE. Define your vision. And don’t be afraid to reach out to your expert vendors. Use their knowledge to find out what might fit your needs best.
WHEN PEOPLE INQUIRE ABOUT YOUR SERVICES, WHAT CAN THEY EXPECT?
First, they can expect a light-hearted conversation about floral, their event needs, and their expectations. Communication is key, so we love to have effective and creative conversations with all our clients and prospective clients.
What is your best advice to avoid planning stress for any special event?
Remember what a good problem solver you are IN the moment, as well as envious of how you want to feel on that day. Protect that at all costs!
