Fresh and Elegant Orlando Wedding Inspiration
The Orlando Perfect Wedding Guide is a wonderful resource for engaged couples to connect with wedding and event vendors in Central Florida. Their monthly networking luncheons help vendors and planners get to know each other over delicious food in beautiful venues. In May, the venue was the breathtaking Howey Mansion. Everything from the decor to the food was fresh and elegant wedding inspiration. Blush by Brandee Garr did a wonderful job of coordinating the event!
The event was filled with touches that not only brought a lovely Floridian flair, but also gave a nod to the mansion’s past. The mansion was built by William J. Howey in 1925, founder of Howey-In-The-Hills. Howey built the first citrus juice plant in Florida right there in the small town in 1921. To reflect the property’s place in Florida history, a main theme of the event was citrus. Lee James Floral Design placed oranges and lemons in the centerpieces and surrounded them in creamy florals and organic greenery.
All of the guests were excited to see the freshest Orlando wedding trends and meet some fellow event professionals! Central Florida is a tightly-knit area for small businesses, and events like Orlando Perfect Wedding Guide’s luncheons help build those connections. Better networks mean more opportunities for brides to connect with businesses for elegant wedding inspiration!
Guests were met with passed hors d’oeuvres and sangria for a refreshing cocktail hour. This back view of the Howey mansion is a lovely spot for a reception!
For a fun twist on the standard photobooth or backdrop, the Van Cam was there to give guests a chance to play. Decked out with a full array of props, the Van Cam is a mobile selfie station!
Inside, guests were greeted by our 60-inch round banquet tables, which make quite a statement when they are dressed in such lovely Floridian colors! Each centerpiece looked and smell like a Florida dream. Our French country chairs were a great addition to ground the bright colors in the room and add an element of earthy elegance.
At each place setting, guests received their own citrus-inspired cookies from the Artful Flour. What a sweet way to further your theme! Our wicker chargers played delightfully with the fresh colors of the cookies, florals, and linens.
It was a full house of event professionals! As they listened to Orlando Perfect Wedding Guide’s leaders about the newest Florida wedding inspiration ideas, they tasted dishes from Arthur’s Catering.
These sweet mini cakes from the Baker’s Cottage Cakes were the perfect bite to end the meal!
Our beautiful wedding furniture rental created a lounge area for guests. The Belle sofa and the Della chair looked perfectly at home in the Howey mansion, and they gave guests a nice place to gather while they networked. With music provided by Soundwave Entertainment, guests were happily mingling in this corner all afternoon.
It was a beautiful event filled with lots of inspiration from passionate Orlando event professionals! We are so happy to be involved in such an exciting event that supports the brides and businesses we love!
