You’ve heard of the classic white winter wedding, of course, but what about a dark winter wedding? We were honored to be involved in this inspirational shoot at The Acre Orlando, designed and styled by Runway Events. One look at the gorgeous photos by Best Photography, and you’ll understand why. If you’re planning a winter wedding, we definitely suggest going dark.
One of our favorite details from this shoot has to be the beautiful gown designed by Sarah Seven. This dress takes all your preconceived notions about wearing black on your wedding day and throws them out the window! This gown is stylish, eye-catching, and so easy to carry and accessorize.
But don’t worry; there was still plenty of color involved, like in the beautiful bouquets, crafted with vivid pinks and greens by Flowers by Lesley.
The cake created by The Sugar Suite was absolutely stunning! Its three tiers rested on a black cake stand, the bottom tier golden and intricately detailed, the top two tiers a beautiful bright pink, topped with black sugar flowers.
The table had been lavishly decorated just for the shoot. Delicious treats from Two Sweets Bake Shop sat among our Gold Flatware, while the gold detail in the chic invitations by Feathered Heart Prints complemented the rustic look of our French Country Chairs.
We can’t wait for winter this year; hopefully we will get to see a real dark winter wedding soon!
