Tribute to the Fallen: A Crimson, Cream and Gold Tampa Bay Wedding
We are always ready for a trip to the Tampa Bay, especially when it’s for a Tampa Bay wedding! Holly and Joe married at the Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club, and this event turned out to be truly memorable.
Holly and Joe took care to make sure that their big day was incredibly personal and spoke to who they are as a couple; in fact, their December wedding was a tribute to Holly’s late father, a Tarpon Springs police officer who passed away in the line of duty on December 21, 2014. They entrusted Parties a La Carte with all the details of their day, and their planner ensured that it turned out even better than what they’d envisioned.
The wedding colors for this Tampa Bay wedding were crimson, cream and gold. Of course, there was plenty of blue as well – thanks to the officers in attendance from the Tarpon Springs police department. These officers were as much a part of Holly’s family as anyone; one of the officers took it upon himself to walk the beautiful bride down the aisle.
The outdoor ceremony was sweet, intimate, and perfect in every way for our couple. Holly and Joe made a picture-perfect couple, glowing with happiness throughout their I Do’s. The guests could hardly sit still in our white resin folding chairs; they were so excited.
Finally, Holly and Joe were officially married, and it was time for the new husband and wife to get the party going. The bride and groom walked from the private outdoor area to the resplendent indoor ballroom for their reception.
The room shimmered and shone; for their wedding rentals, the couple opted for gold decor and details to complement the crimson and cream tones. Gold Chiavari chairs paired with round tables and gleaming glass gold rim chargers.
Understandably, a father-daughter dance hadn’t been planned, but everyone still had a lovely surprise in store for the bride! Holly’s police family had chosen a song in advance, and took turns on the dance floor with the bride, finally ending their turn around the dance floor by sending her back into the waiting arms of her groom.
