Meg & Zach
Meg and Zach met at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, and were college sweethearts. When it came to getting married it only made sense to have it where it all began. Knowles Chapel was the perfect location for them. Kristen Weaver Photography captured all the amazing pictures around the college and photos from the rest of the day. Additionally, Cherish Events planned the day and everything went off without a hitch. Let’s take a look at this Romantic Wedding at Knowles Chapel.
Getting ready
The morning of your wedding is a whirlwind of excitement and anticipation. Add the fact that they are at the place where their love started was something special. Meg got ready for the day with her closest family and friends and enjoyed that special time together. Her bridesmaids all wore light pink flowy dresses, which paired well with the bouquets. Those included different shades of white, light pink, and maroon flowers, along with some greenery for an added touch. Meg’s white dress was flowy, with a v-cut front, and thin straps. Also included was a lacey cover with sleeves that she wore over top. She looked stunning. Zach and his groomsmen looked dashing in their blue suits and brown shoes, with the added pink tie to match the color theme.
First Look
Then after getting ready, the couple took off to do their first looks with one another. While being at the college campus where it all started the two stood outside, with Zach’s back turned Meg waited with anticipation to reveal her look. Finally, Zach turned around and the moment he saw his future wife the two shed tears of happiness. Enjoying those last few moments together before they walked down the aisle to tie the knot.
Walking to say I do
Guests filed into the chapel anxiously awaiting the ceremony to begin. With the tall ceilings and amazing architecture, it set the scene for a beautiful wedding. Meg’s father walked her down the aisle with pride and excitement. Throughout the chapel, prayers were said for the happy couple for this new journey they are about to embark on with one another. Vows were exchanged and I do’s were said. Then it was time to kiss his wife and walk out hand in hand.
Party time
Following the ceremony, guests went to the Winter Park Farmers Market for the reception. We were able to help their vision come to life with all of our wedding rentals. We supplied the Gold Rimmed Chargers and Gold Rimmed Stemware (Wine glasses, water goblets, and champagne flutes). The Mahogany Chiavari Chairs and White Pads were seated around the Monaco Tables as well as the Round tables. Also supplied were our Cocktail Tables guests used to stand around and enjoy their drinks, as well as our Wine Barrels, Wine Barrel with Mahogany Toppers, and Banquet Folding Tables. Last but not least, our Boxwood Hedge was a great photo-op location for the couple and their guests. The rest of the night people enjoyed all the amazing food, cake, and dancing. Laughter filled the air and everyone couldn’t be happier celebrating the newlyweds.
