Romantic Garden Wedding at Alfond Inn

One of the most romantic wedding venues in Central Florida is The Alfond Inn. With the green lawn and open space, it’s a perfect canvas for any dream wedding. And so, it was the perfect ceremony and reception venue for Mike and Marissa’s romantic garden wedding. With Just Save The Date leading the wedding dream team, we knew this was going to be a wedding to remember. From their garden wedding ceremony to the ballroom reception, every detail was perfectly planned. And of course, there were a few welcomed surprises!

When planning a wedding, it’s easy to get bogged down with the details. But, knowing that you have a wedding team that designs, creates, and executes all the details gives couples more time to just enjoy the day.

Marissa was able to relax with her bridal party and it’s evident by the images captured by Drake Photography. The ladies popped their bottle of champagne and toasted their dear friend and her special day.

Alfond Inn Garden Ceremony

We have been a part of so many beautiful weddings at The Alfond Inn. And each one is always unique in detail and style. Marissa and Mike’s romantic garden wedding ceremony had so many memorable details.

The ceremony welcome sign from Do Tell Stationery & Designs introduced the floral details with a beautiful watercolor design. Then, the custom floral details created by In Bloom Florist lined the aisle.

And then, a custom floral design was placed on our mahogany cross that sat at the front of the ceremony. This romantic wedding detail was perfect for Mike and Marissa’s ceremony.

As the music began to play, Marissa made her way down the aisle to Mike. When he first saw his bride, his eyes filled with happy tears. She looked breathtaking in her lace gown with a classic mermaid skirt and long veil.

After exchanging rings, officiant Melissa Stump pronounced them husband and wife. And when she presented the newly Mr. and Mrs. Gover, the wedding guests cheered!

Gold & Floral Reception

Following the romantic wedding ceremony, the newlyweds joined their family and friends in the ballroom for a garden and gold reception. The floral on each table mimicked the beautiful ceremony floral designs.

And on the tables, our gold rim glass chargers were topped with watercolor menus. The glass design was the perfect charger to showcase the lavender table linens from BBJ Linen.

The evening was filled with fun surprises. Mike and Marissa walked right into the reception and kicked it off with a romantic first dance.

And following dinner, the Maid of Honor and Best Man toasted the happy couple. The sweet words touched Mike and Marissa. It was evident how special they are to their family and friends.
