Quirky and Chic Star Wars Wedding
We love to see a couple with a fun sense of humor take a unique spin on the wedding planning process! James and Addie share a deep love for Star Wars, and they decided to take it all the way in every detail of their wedding. This Orlando Science Center wedding combined James and Addie’s whimsical spirit with an elegant venue, giving guests a unique experience they will remember forever.
To bring the drama of Star Wars to the wedding, the colors were moody and striking. The bridesmaids wore glittering black dresses, and the bride wore a breathtaking Inbal Dror gown. Thread and Needle Alterations made sure each dress fit like a glove. Their bouquets from Orlando Flower Market looked otherworldly with unexpected shapes and choices of flora.
The bride and groom wanted each detail to tell their story, but they also wanted to keep it a chic sci fi themed wedding. Touches like the patches on James’ jacket really sold the couple’s vision.
Addie and James knew that the reception would be the place to really push their theme, and they let a dark and wonderful tablescape lay the perfect foundation for pops of greenery, flowers, and copper. Our black goblets and black glass deco chargers looked regal at each dinner setting, working with the surrounding dark colors and touches of metallics to bring an upscale element to the Star Wars themed reception.
Mixing beautiful floral centerpieces with models of props that look like they came straight from the screen lent softness to the decor.
A Star Wars themed wedding just had to have some stormtroopers drop by, and the 501st Legion made it happen! Guests were wowed with Ewoks, stormtroopers, and other Star Wars characters who mingled with the wedding crowd. What a fun addition to a Star Wars wedding reception!
After guests boogied to their Junction 88 DJ, they were treated to a delicious Sweet Flours Bakery cake and a fun Mirror Mirror Enchanted Photobooth for an out-of-this-world reception. Addie and James partied with their friends and family, surrounded by lots of love and a truly magical event they created to celebrate their marriage. It is clear that their love for each other is rooted in their fun-loving spirits. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and epic adventures!
