October 2021 Wedding Rental Winners- Zahira and Dustin

Each month, one of our lucky couples wins $500 off their wedding rentals. This month, we have Zahira and Dustin, our October rental winners. Read on to hear about what they are looking forward to the most on their wedding day, and learn how YOU can be our next month’s winner!

Where did you meet your fiancée?

My husband and I met in medical school. We were in the same class, and thankfully went through the intense years together!

How did you know he was the one for you?

People always say you know when he/she is the one. And that is so true. We didn’t actually say this to each other until years later, but we both knew when we talked to each other the first time. I know, it really was meant to be. When you look back at all the things that went different from your plan in your life only for you two to meet at the exact right time in your life there is something special about it.

What are the things you have in common?

Not much besides practicing medicine, honestly! We both definitely enjoy traveling. Besides that, Dustin has a giant list of hobbies. This actually works out because I get to enjoy his hobbies with him, which makes it super fun.

How did he propose?

Shenandoah National Park: we were hiking and he kept looking for a tree branch where he could hang a Go-Pro tripod to capture the moment. Kind of tipped me off when we found a giant rock overlooking the mountains. And the tree was placed in the perfect position!

What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?

FAMILY! I love our families. When all you see at work is sick people who yearn to be with their families at all times, you are constantly reminded how lucky you are to have them all in your life. We are looking forward to that the most.

What inspired your wedding colors?

We both appreciate simplicity in our lives. Just coming home to each other every night and enjoying time together. Going with some earthy/boho tones.
