Where did you meet your fiancée?
We met in Florida only a few days after I moved to the area from New York. We worked together at a banquet hall and our relationship grew after being friends for several months.
How did you know he was the one for you?
I knew Ryan was the one for me when he entered the Police Academy. We had been dating for about a year, and he showed me such drive, determination, and compassion for others. I knew at that moment he was “The One” I would spend my life with, and he would always love and protect myself and our family.
What are the things you have in common?
Our mutual respect for each other, our goals, and ambitions in life, love, and family.
How did he propose?
Ryan’s proposal was a total surprise and so well thought out. His proposal involved my mother, father and sister, something he knew would mean the world to me. I was waiting in a New York airport with my family for his arrival from Florida, so we could begin our vacation altogether. While waiting for him to come out from the terminal, my sister slid a pair of headphones over my ears. Instantly a recording of Ryan’s voice could be heard telling me to close my eyes, and all the reasons he loves me. Once the voice recording stopped playing, I opened my eyes and he was kneeling in front of me with my favorite flowers and a ring box. Best of all, he hired a professional photographer and videographer (who had been in hiding throughout the airport) to record the whole thing!
What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?
I am most looking forward to the first time I see him while I walk down the aisle with my Dad. We are not planning to do a first look, and I just can’t wait to see the look on his face at the altar.
What inspired your wedding colors?
Our wedding colors are inspired by our taste and style: modern, sleek, and elegant. The colors are black, silver, and white, always classic and timeless.
