This gorgeous “Modern Day Grace Kelly” inspired wedding shoot was based on the idea of a modern day Grace Kelly getting married in 2017. Combing the late 50’s and early 60’s fashion sense, Rad Red Creative was able to create an elegant design with pops of red, grey, and black to evoke a timeless nostalgia.
The Modern Day Grace Kelly Wedding Shoot took place at the renovated Vault Venue, The Vault. Her handsome groom, who had the style inspiration of Alfred Hitchhock, was dressed in a dark grey tuxedo from The Black Tux with a bright red boutonniere.
Event Planner, Love Lee Lane and floral designer FH Weddings & Events did away with the traditional arch and flowers for the ceremony and instead created a one of a kind backdrop from Pont Alexandre III bridge in Paris. Candles and black chairs were added as a soft touch to complete the grace Kelly ambiance.
Gigi’s cupcakes created the most incredible Modern Day Grace Kelly inspired wedding cake. Stretching 3-tiers high, the ivory dessert had two golden lovebirds and bright red floral arrangements all over. We’re sure it was just as yummy as it was gorgeous!
As for the tablescape, the inspiration to create a design of sophistication and grace was easily portrayed with subtle colors of champagne, ivory, and gold. A Chair Affair provided the Clear Chiavari Chairs, White China, Black Deco Glass Charger, and the Brushed Gold Flatware which completed the vintage-chic look we were all going for.
