Media Feature: The Knot: A Waldorf Astoria Orlando Wedding

We loved Candy and Ivi’s purple and green New York-themed wedding, so did The Knot Magazine, as the wedding was featured it in their Winter/Fall 2012 issue! The wedding was held at the stunning Waldorf Astoria Orlando, photographed by Shipra Panosian Photography, and coordinated by Weddings Unique.

The couple wanted a New York theme because that’s where they first meet. To keep in tune with the fun theme, Candy wanted a fun dress. So she chose a hi-lo hemline and ruffled gown from Cymbeline Paris, New York NY. Her simple, yet fun, hair and makeup was done by the talented staff at Lejeune Hair & Makeup Artistry.

The sophisticated Manhattan theme continued with the reception décor. The wall-length backdrop of Central Park was the most obvious integration of the theme, but subtler New York elements were incorporated too. The table cloths’ geometric patterns reflected the New York skyline, which also decorated the menus provided by Shanna Michele Designs Etsy.com. Modern vases were filled with orchids and branches to match the purple and green color scheme and provided by Greenery Productions. Our Mahogany chiavari chairs completed the reception’s look.
