Where did you meet your fiancée?
Chris and I met in high school while volunteering.

How did you know he was the one for you?

Chris has always been my best friend.  There is a moment in every relationship when you realize that this one person has the ability to make you happier than you have ever imagined you could be. I was lucky that my one person happened to be the most supportive, funny, and caring person in my life.

What are the things you have in common?

Aside from television shows and food choices, Chris and I are actually quite different. Chris rides bikes and I’m into yoga. Chris likes to read comic books and I like the classics. The fun part about our relationship is through our differences we get each other to try new things.

How did he propose?

So this is a funny story. Chris had surprised me a few months before with a trip to Canada to visit his family’s cabin four hours outside of Toronto. Chris’ Uncle kept emailing to warning us about the bugs inside the cabin. When it came time to fly up to Buffalo, New York and drive there I was nervous about the new little friends we’d be making during our trip. I was extremely surprised by how beautiful the cabin was with it’s amazing lakeside view. Chris and I hadn’t made any stops on the ride up to the cabin so, I was starving. The minute I got inside I started searching for snacks while Chris brought our luggage in. I found a can of Salt and Vinegar Pringles and started eating them. I walked over to a huge glass window in the living room and took in the view once again. Little did I know Chris came up behind me and said ” I had an ulterior motive behind coming here”. I turn around with the can of chips in hand to see Chris down on one knee with a small box in his hand. I looked at him for a moment and I finally said, ” Chris get the can of chips out of my hand.” Of course after that funny moment and a few more words I said yes, but I had to wipe the crumbs off of my hand before he slipped the ring on my finger.

What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?

Chris’ faces when he sees me in my wedding dress for the first time. Chris has been very involved with the wedding planning and thank goodness he is because I’ve always been more of a dreamer than a planner. The only negative with that is there isn’t too much to surprise him with on the wedding day. So the dress is the only thing I can really keep secret from him. I keep teasing him with small hints, but nothing is going to beat his face when he can finally see me in it.

What inspired your wedding colors?

Chris and I really love the outdoors so we wanted the main theme of our wedding to be  nature.
