Of all the possible color combinations in the world, there are few more unique and more beautiful than teal and gold. This romantic styled shoot at the Ivy Astoria couldn’t have been better, and the eye-catching combination of teal and gold with burgundy and rustic wooden accents certainly set it apart.
Planned by Liz Kamali Events and Jennifer, the owner of the Ivy Astoria, the shoot went off without a hitch. Every smile, pose, and twinkle was expertly caught on camera by Carrie Wildes Photography. Our models were ethereal, decked out in gowns from The Bride and stylish accessories.
The space used for the “reception” was beautiful to begin with, with crystal chandeliers and hardwood floors adding a touch of sheer elegance. Our Farm Tables, set with Filigree Glass Chargers and Baroque Gold Flatware, only added to the sophisticated feel of the venue.
Burgundy napkins from Kate Ryan Linens contrasted with the rustic charm of our French Country Chairs, drawing the eye towards the wooden favors and neutral-toned florals sitting on the table. Burgundy flowers topped the cake by The Cake Zone, just for a little extra flair.
To contrast all the gold and burgundy, we also added in some White French Country Chairs, which looked stunning against the teal linens! Once we were done, the room pulled together effortlessly, resulting in a shoot that none of us will ever forget.
This was a wonderful shoot, and we can’t wait to get together with a team of vendors soon for the next one!
