Glamorous Black and White Wedding

Emily and Greg had two goals for their big day. They wanted it to feel glamorous and they wanted everyone to have tons of fun. We say check and check. From start to finish, their Glamorous Black and White Wedding had all the right touches. Let’s take a look at all the details captured by Eddy Almaguer Photography.

Black and White

Emily chose the classic black and white theme for her big day. The bridesmaids each selected their own flattering, long dresses in black. The groomsmen also wore traditional black tuxes with black bow ties but added a pop of whimsy with their colorful socks. Greg wore a white dinner jacket, with black pants, a black bow tie, and white shirt. Emily’s dress was beautiful with intricate lace details and delicate buttons going up the back. She went with an all-white bouquet with lots of greenery. The entire bridal party had a blast arriving at the ceremony in a vintage trolley. Downtown St. Petersburg provided a trendy and distinct backdrop for their entire day.

Saying I do

The ceremony was held outside on the patio of Nova 535 which has a great private feel nestled between thick bamboo hedges. Emily and Greg said their I Do’s under our Mahogany Wooden Arch that was decorated with flowers and a flowing white tulle. Emily’s dad walked her down the aisle. The entire crowd cheered as the couple read their vows, had their first kiss, and were pronounced husband and wife.

Celebrating the Newlyweds

After the ceremony, guests headed indoors at Nova 535 for a glamorous yet playful reception. Dinner was served at round tables with gold chiavari chairs and tall floral centerpieces. A champagne toast was provided courtesy of our Champagne Hedge Wall. Custom-etched champagne glasses made for a great keepsake of the day. Instead of a typical wedding cake, guests were treated to a yummy donut board. As the night progressed, everyone took to the dance floor and partied with glow sticks. Both young and old had a fun time dancing the night away.

Sparklers and a Classic Car send-off

As the evening came to a close, guests gave the newlyweds a sparkler send-off. Emily and Greg exited to a waiting classic car. The happy couple were whisked off to begin their new life together.
