Elegant Longboat Key Club Resort Wedding

To begin, Abbie and Conor’s wedding took place on a magnificent March day in Longboat Key Florida, and had the most spectacular weather to go along with it. Friends and family came from all over to celebrate this big day. With Swanky Soiree Events coordinating, everything turned out perfectly. Additionally, Beth Joy Photography captured all the magical moments from Abbie and Conor’s big day. Let’s look more in-depth at this Elegant Longboat Key Club Resort Wedding!

Getting ready on your wedding day is truly one of the most spectacular moments for a bride. With her closest friends and family, Abbie shared a toast to start off her wedding day. Then, while dressed in matching robes the girls got their hair and make-up done, and everyone looked stunning. Abbie wore an elegant lacey dress, with off-the-shoulder short sleeves and a plunging neckline. After being zipped into her dress she revealed her final look and everyone was in awe of her beauty. Meanwhile, Conor and his groomsmen prepared for the wedding and dressed in their black tuxedoes and black bow ties. The group of them also shared a toast in celebration of their friend’s big day.

First look

Following getting ready, the bride and groom are whisked away for their first look. With Abbie standing behind Conor, she anxiously awaits the reveal to her future husband. Once turned around Conor’s face lights up when he sees his beautiful bride. The couple takes that moment to read their vows to one another. Sharing tears in the process, the couple then embrace and await their walk down the aisle.

Down the aisle

With palm trees, stunning foliage, flowers, and beautiful views all around, the wedding ceremony is ready to begin. Additionally, a white arch is placed at the end of the aisle for the couple to stand beneath and say their I do’s. Music begins and guests stand from their seats and watch as Abbie is escorted down the aisle. Then, she is handed off to her beloved and the officiant begins. After the couple exchange their rings and say their I do’s they are pronounced husband and wife and share their first kiss. Cheers erupt from the guests and the couple walk out hand and hand.

Reception

Walking into the ballroom for the reception you’re greeted by linens cascading from the ceiling. A stage lit up by backlighting, a large dancefloor, and the couple’s half-moon table are at the forefront. Round white tables are placed throughout the room, and our Gold Chiavari Chairs and White Pads are used for seating. Also, a special table set up that has pictures of those special people who are no longer with them anymore, but were with them in spirit. When the party began the couple cheered their way into the room with drinks in hand and ready to start the fun. Sharing their first dance to begin, and then listening to all the lovely speeches from their friends and family. The band then played hits for the rest of the night which kept everyone dancing!
