Dr Phillips Center Rooftop Wedding

Erik & Stuart

The sweetest love stories start with a slice of cake. When Erik and Stuart first met, Stuart was working as the pastry sous chef at Magic Kingdom’s Be Our Guest restaurant. And when a mutual friend asked Erik what he thought about the desserts at the restaurant, he replied, “Eh, they were okay.” But when the friend told him that it was Stuart who crafted the treats, he quickly changed his mind. And the rest, they say, is a sweet ending. The happy couple made their union official with a rooftop wedding at the Dr. Phillips Center in downtown Orlando. And the photography team of Olga Thompson and Ali Nasser captured the beautiful and fun day!

The Ceremony

Under a blue sky, dotted with white clouds, Erik and Stuart were joined by their family and friends for an intimate wedding ceremony. While guests were seated in our White Resin folding chairs, the grooms exchanged vows and rings. And then they shared a tender kiss to seal their union.

The Party

After the rooftop wedding ceremony, it was time to celebrate the happy couple. Inside the ballroom, the navy and burgundy wedding colors were gorgeous. The guests were seated at the banquet tables for a delicious dinner. And before the dance floor was open for the wedding guests, Erik and Stuart shared a dance to “I Am Yours” by Andy Grammer.

And the fun was just starting! Between dancing and slices of cake, the wedding guests enjoyed the photo booth from Uptown Selfies. The night was filled with so many laughs and love.
