Where did you meet your fiancée?
We were neighbors in the same complex. I was in college and he is a few years older than me, I think he got annoyed with all the noise, but accepted it because he thought I was cute. 😉
How did you know he was the one for you?
Well, he likes to break into spontaneous dance as much as I do. He’s incredibly giving, and we mesh well together. After 7 years, it wasn’t really a hard decision to make, we make each other better people and I love my life with him.
What are the things you have in common?
We both love old stuff. We love food and date night and most of all our blue nose pit bull Charlie!
How did he propose?
We went on a European Vacation to England and Paris. It was Valentine’s Day and we were in a coastal town called Worthing. He took me to a fancy dinner, and gave me my Valentines Card. It said “To my Mrs.” inside it said “Please Say Yes.” Then he gave me the ring. I forgot to say yes, and just said, It’s Huge! We hadn’t received our food yet, and my nerves were too jittery to eat anything we ordered, although it looked delicious. We finalized the night with a few super top shelf shots of tequila for good measure. 😉
What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?
I know I should say spending time with family, but I would be lying. I am in the nonprofit/marketing industry and have hosted a lot of events and worked a ton of weddings in the past. But this one is finally for me! We a’ la carted the entire event and I can’t wait to see it all come together beautifully, including my chairs!
What inspired your wedding colors?
Pinterest. Haha, I’m French, he’s Italian. Our colors are dusty blue, taupe, with light peach and white flowers, and of course a lot of greenery! A Tuscany, French vintage feel.
