Ryan and Nick’s 1920’s Inspired Wedding
Does it get any more classic than a 1920’s inspired wedding? First of all, the white, gold, and purple touches throughout the wedding brought a sense of elegance and sophistication. Then, the decor at the ceremony and the reception was expertly tailored to the theme by the wedding planning team over at Taylor Falcon Events. Lastly, the backdrop of the Tampa skyline at Rooftop 220 was the perfect view for the ceremony as captured by Darin Crofton Photography.
Love was definitely in the air and you can tell how much joy there is between the couple as they recited their vows to tie the knot surrounded by family and friends in an intimate ceremony. Those attending the ceremony clapped and cheered as Ryan and Nick celebrated their first moments as husbands. Probably our favorite moment of the evening!
Nick and Ryan sported a black ensemble featuring matching gold bow ties, a purple ascot, and velvet loafers. Above all, Ryan and Nick looked absolutely dashing in their outfits and it echoed the 1920’s inspired theme perfectly.
The Reception at CAVU
After the ceremony, the party moved over to CAVU and the room was transformed into a 1920’s inspired reception. First of all, we have to mention the amazing champagne tower put together by Saltblock Catering. Next, we noticed the florals which were arranged by Events in Bloom. The centerpieces were composed of feather flumes with beads dripping from the center, perfect for the 1920’s inspiration. Finally, the white, gold, and purple details were showcased with the show stopping Frances Settee at the head table for the grooms. Our regal purple color theory pillows added a pop of color and tied the whole look together. Similarly, our gold and clear weave chargers on the tables also tied together the 1920’s inspired wedding theme. Overall, we loved how the tablescapes turned out.
A highlight of the evening were the toasts because there is nothing better than hearing stories from best friends. We loved seeing the smiles and laughs from around the room.
Then it was time to cut the cake! The cake was decorated by Elise’s Pieces and featured lots of 1920’s inspired details with gold edging. It was perfect for this timeless wedding. Also, we loved the simple cake topper.
