Everywhere you look in historic St. Augustine there’s a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. For their big day, Fiorela and Colin decided on the Casa Monica Hotel and the Lightner Museum. It’s such a beautiful area, especially in the Fall when their wedding was held. While their ceremony was all about tradition, the reception coordinated by Blush by Brandee Gaar was all about off-the-wall fun! It was certainly a reception no one will ever forget!
Fiorela’s elegant dress was crafted by Monique Lhuillier and her makeup was done by Brides be Beautiful. Andi Mans photography was there for the whole day, capturing all the intimate moments between Fiorela and her charming husband, Colin, before and after the ceremony.
The gorgeous bouquet was arranged by the talented folks at Lee James Floral. We adore the color palette they went with! After the lovely traditional ceremony, it was on to Casa Monica and the Lightner Museum for one memorable reception!
Their reception was accented with our gold Chiavari Chairs, which matched the pinks and whites everywhere. Lee James Floral created beautiful centerpieces, and the elegant five-tiered cake from Party Flavors was, well, the icing on the cake! We love the string of sugar roses spiraling up its sides!
While the reception may have started on a traditional note, it soon busted out into a banging Columbian dance party, complete with traditional costumes, masks, and drums. Talk about a party! No one stayed in their seat for this rousing portion of the evening!
A huge thanks to all of the other vendors who made it all possible, and a special thanks to Fiorela and Colin for allowing us to be a part of such a special day! Here’s to a long, happy life together!
