Beautiful Orlando Museum of Art Wedding

Katie & Stephen

Katie and Stephen met in Kung Fu class when they were kids. Fast forward, and they knew that their love was worth Kung Fu fighting for. Their memorable wedding at the beautiful Orlando Museum of Art was planned by the talented team at Runway Events.  And the fabulous Anna So Photography captured all the amazing details! And there’s a fun traditional detail that you don’t want to miss! Read on!
.

While the wedding dream team worked their magic, Katie and Stephen spent quality time with their wedding party. The bride and groom met with the photographer for pre-ceremony pictures after getting dressed. And the grounds at the Orlando Museum of Art were perfect for the photos!

Of course, we loved how Stephen and his groomsmen kept the wedding day jitters at bay. With some sweet Kung Fu moves of course!

Wedding Ceremony Mahogany Wooden Cross

The wedding guests arrived at Orlando Museum of Art for Katie and Stephen’s wedding, and were escorted into the atrium. The ceremony was beautiful, with champagne-colored draping and market lights. Our Mahogany Wooden Cross stood center stage and was a gorgeous backdrop for their ceremony.

We love the classic beauty that this piece brings to wedding ceremonies. The wooden cross was decorated with a floral swag of dusty pink and cream-colored roses from In Bloom Florist.

Chinese Dragon Wedding Reception

Following the ceremony, the atrium was switched from ceremony to reception. Centerpieces of white orchids graced the tables. And the Mahogany Wooden Cross was placed behind the sweetheart table.

Katie and Stephen kept their culture front and center. Especially in the details of their wedding celebration with a traditional Chinese lion dance.

The Chinese lion dance is performed at weddings to bless the couple so they will have a long and happy marriage. It is also said to help ward off evil spirits from being detrimental to their life together.

After dinner and toasts, DJ Live Productions got the party started. While the music pumped and the lights dimmed, Katie and Stephen joined their wedding guests on the dance floor.

And Stephen showed off some sweet dance moves! His joy and energy were non-stop throughout the night!

Katie and Stephen’s Orlando Museum of Art Wedding was filled with love, laughter, and tradition. And it is definitely one that we will not forget!
