A night full of fun and romance at the Alfond Inn Golden Wedding with Katie and Ryan. The beautiful couple started with a beautiful outdoor ceremony and ended with a sparkling farewell. The day was filled with lovely gold accents and simple greenery. We can’t wait to share this special event with you!

Big Day Ready

The beautiful bride and her lovely bridesmaids enjoyed a glass of champagne while getting their hair and make-up done. Katie wore her hair down in curls partially pulled and pinned back, her makeup was natural with a subtle red glossy lip. Afterward, she had a few minutes with her father and then went on to stun the groom during their first look!

Ceremony

The bride walked down the aisle, arms linked with her father during their outside ceremony at the Alfond Inn on a beautiful Florida day. After her father gave her away, the couple said their vows and were pronounced husband and wife in front of their family and friends.

Cocktail time

As the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, the newlyweds took pictures and quickly celebrated their marriage with the bridal party, spraying a bottle of champagne and making a fantastic celebration picture. It was obvious this group was going to have a great time!

Reception first glance

Before guests entered the reception room, the newlyweds were able to take their first glance. Sheer gold curtains draped the wall behind the head table, which was dressed in beige-gold linens, topped with light simple greenery, and accented with gold candle holders. Our Gold Rimmed Stemware matched the theme perfectly, giving a hint of gold with each sip. There was also, a photo backdrop with a “You+Me” lit sign for a polaroid picture memory for everyone to enjoy.

Time to party

After the guests arrived, the bride and groom enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife. They listened, laughed, and toasted to several speeches. The couple then cut their three-tiered white cake, which was lined with a gold ribbon. While feeding each other a piece, there was also some playful smearing on the faces! After all, who doesn’t love an exciting cake-cutting? Next, was the father-daughter dance as well as the groom and mother dance after which it was time for the party to let loose!

Farewell Alfond Inn

After everyone danced the night away, it was time for the friends and family to send the newlyweds off in style with a sparkling farewell!
