January 2022 WEDDING RENTAL WINNERS – Matt & Dom

We are so excited to introduce you to the first wedding rental winner of 2022! Where did you meet your fiancée?

We met when we both worked at MGM Grand and got stuck working on a brutal work project together during March Madness weekend. We were working with each other for 12 hours each day over the weekend and had never really had a conversation prior to that. And on the last day of a very long work week, Matt asked me to go get drinks (just as friends since we both had broken up with our previous significant others earlier that month) and it quickly turned into a relationship.

How did you know they were the one for you?

[Dom] I knew Matt was the one for me when we were cooking at his house one night and it all just seemed to click. It was so much fun helping each other around in the kitchen and tasting the food we were making together as a couple and I knew I could do this forever.

[Matt] I knew Dom was the one for me because she always supported me and made me feel good about myself. She always made me feel loved and wanted.

 

What are the things you have in common?

We both love going to any and all sporting events, going to the beach/boating, bar hopping and most importantly we both love our fur babies Winnie and Krewella.

How did they propose?

Matt proposed when we were on a family trip in Fort Myers on the beach during sunset. He created an “adventure book” like the movie “Up” filled with photos and ticket stubs from all of the places and events we’d gone to since we started dating and at the end of the book it said “will you marry me” and he got down on one knee.

What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?

Of course, we’re both excited to marry each other in front of all of our loved ones. But we’re most excited about finally getting everyone together to throw an awesome party with some special twists that our guests won’t be expecting! We want our wedding to be one that everyone leaves going “WOW! That was a hell of a party!”

What inspired your wedding colors?

We both just absolutely love the beach and wanted to find an elegant way to bring in the pops of paradise while still making it elegant and classic so we decided to have the linens the softer/traditional colors and have our floral arrangements bring in the brighter pops of color.
