A garden wedding can be lovely in an outdoor garden setting. But what about indoors? Our “friendors” brought a beautiful bloom-filled celebration to life with this urban garden wedding. When Brittany and Barrett met with wedding planner Lisa Lyons, the couple shared their vision. And boy, did Lisa create a dream come true! Their urban garden wedding was an enchanted evening. With roses, candlelight, greenery, and more roses; this city-meets-secret-garden event quickly became a favorite.
Floral & Lace
First, we have to talk floral and lace. Brittany’s gorgeous Ines DiSanto gown from Solutions Bridal was made just for her! The lace detailing paired perfectly with the romantic bouquet created and designed by Fairbanks Florist. A touch of greenery blended with white garden roses, peonies, and, ranunculus. And the stems were wrapped with romantic ivory ribbon. Perfection!
Next, we have to talk more about this gown! Did you see the back? The button detailing was breathtaking. It was delicate and sophisticated. And like we said, made for her! This wedding gown was a perfect choice for their dreamy urban garden wedding.
Urban Garden Wedding Reception
After their romantic wedding ceremony at the beautiful Knowles Chapel at Rollins College, Brittany and Barret joined their wedding guests at The Alfond Inn for the reception. Immediately, the urban garden theme opened in the foyer. In the background, green hedge walls were flocked with white floral. And custom glass seating charts directed guests to their seats.
Straight ahead, the reception opened up into this secret garden scene, perfect for an urban garden wedding. First, custom trellises intertwined with cascading greenery. Next, white floral blooms caught the eye. In the background, intimate lighting brought finishing touches to a dreamy backdrop. In the foreground, centerpieces wore greenery with floral accents with flirty touches of candlelight.
Magical Moments
At each table setting, our Brushed Gold Flatware was paired with delicate marble chargers. The gold accent of the flatware brought a magical twinkle to the place settings.
And we can’t talk magical without talking about the rest of the evening. Each moment was picture perfect. Brittany and Barret danced under the glow of the romantic lighting. They dined with their friends and family. They raised their champagne glasses in celebration.
After cutting into their custom wedding cake from Sprinkles Custom Cakes, the bride and groom shared a sweet kiss. And we think that was the perfect ending to Brittany and Barret’s urban garden wedding.
