Urban Sophisticated Dr Phillips Center Wedding

Jordan and Graham both love living in Orlando and knew that their wedding had to be held in an iconic downtown venue. The Dr. Phillips Center provided a fun and urban, but sophisticated location for their big day. The downtown skyline sure made for some gorgeous sunset views! We can’t wait to share all the details of their Urban Sophisticated Dr Phillips Center Wedding.

The Details

The couple chose to have a sophisticated color palate of only black and white. The invitations reflected their love of modern and contemporary design. Each element of the invite contained a different shaped piece in either black or white. Jordan selected all white flowers and all black dresses for her bridesmaids.

The Bridal Party

Jordan’s bridal party enjoyed a champagne toast in matching black striped silk jammies. They had a lot of fun getting ready. Jordan chose an off the shoulder, sleek and sophisticated gown with gorgeous button detailing down the back. Graham also kept to the black and white theme by choosing a white dinner jacket with black lapels, black pants and black loafers. On his lapel was a single white rose. The groomsmen wore traditional all black tuxedos which complemented the all black bridesmaids dresses. Both the bride and bridesmaids carried all white rose bouquets.

A Ceremony with a View

The Dr. Phillips Center rooftop patio was a beautiful place for their ceremony. Jordan was escorted down the aisle by her father. The couple exchanged vows just as the sun was setting over the Orlando skyline. More white roses filled the backdrop for the ceremony as well as lining the aisle. Guests sat in white resin folding chairs draped with white linen swags. The whole crowd cheered as Jordan and Graham shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

A Black and White Reception

After the ceremony, guests were escorted into the indoor reception room at the Dr. Phillips Center. The black and white color palate was carried thoughout the entire reception. Guest sat in our Black Ghost Chairs at round tables. The round tables were draped in all white linens with all white floral centerpieces placed high atop stands. As guests entered the room, they were able to take champagne glasses from an elegant black display labeled with Cheers. For dinner, guests dined with our Black Matte Flatware and Black Rim Glass Chargers. A black and white checkered dance floor took the centerstage in the room and truly completed the theme. Jordan and Graham enjoyed their first dance while all their friends and family looked on. The wedding cake was a sleek two tiered design that was decorated with black ribbon a J & G on top.
