Pack your bags and prepare for romance! The inspiration behind this styled shoot featured in Every Last Detail was the love of travel and the “groom” working as a pilot. Bumby Photography, The Busy Bee Events, and we at A Chair Affair filled the event with fun details and classic styles that have a touch of modern flavor.
Vintage maps were heavily used in everything from the invitations to the escort cards, helping to create a fun and memorable experience for wedding guests. Check out the departures board, which tells the story of their relationship, including when they fell in love and their wedding day.
Details like the “fly away with me” tags on the airplane alcohol bottles provide a rich experience for wedding guests. They’re sure to remember the music and food, but it’s these small details that truly make a wedding memorable.
The groom’s look was a combination of a tuxedo and pilot’s uniform, while the bride wore a traditional white dress. Her bold bouquet includes vivid purples and subtle pinks that match the centerpieces and tablecloths.
The wooden French country chairs we provided added a touch of warmth with their quality craftsmanship. Our rustic farm tables are constructed of mahogany and delivered a familiar sense of family to the wedding.
Even part of the tri-level cake was a map! Bravo, Everything Cake, for creating a stunning work of delicious art.
The vintage luggage used as décor enhanced the classic feel of the event and its travel theme. Many candles were used as well, setting a romantic tone for the outdoor wedding reception, which took place at an airplane hangar, of course.
