Ashley and Justin sealed their bond in a gorgeous coral and gold affair at the picturesque Tavern & Chapel in the Garden. We absolutely adore their story of how they fell in love. Even though they attended college together and shared the same classes, they didn’t connect until they both joined a study abroad program that transported them to China and Japan. It was there that they experienced the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in China on March 11, 2011. They officially started dating soon after they returned to the states.
Ashley found the perfect team to help plan her wedding with An Affair to Remember, their styles and visions coordinating to create a timeless coral and gold wedding. The bride dressed to impress her new husband in a gorgeous open-back lace gown with an attached tulle train designed by Monique Lhuillier, while her bridesmaids wore a beautiful shade of coral to complement the theme. Addy, Ashley and Justin’s daughter, was glowing with happiness in her adorable flower girl gown with heart-shaped back and attached tulle cupcake skirt.
Once the newlyweds shared their first kiss as husband and wife underneath a gorgeous white floral arch, with every moment captured by Kristen Weaver Photography, they joined their guests at their reception. The space was decorated in various shades of pink and gold, from our Gold Chiavari Chairs and Gold Belmont Beaded Glass Chargers, to the stunning white and blush floral accent centerpieces designed by Details Flowers & Photography. The 5-tiered ruffle buttercream wedding cake created by The Pastry Studio completed the newlywed’s wedding vision—a day they will always remember.
