Rustic Wedding At McKee Botanical Gardens

Have you ever dreamt of walking down the aisle with the sun peeking through the leaves and a gentle breeze blowing through your hair? Well, this couple had that same dream. The sun was shining and the weather was perfect for a Rustic Wedding at McKee Botanical Gardens. Family and friends gathered on this special day to see the two of them take on the journey of husband and wife. The day was planned out perfectly by An Affair to Remember.

Getting ready

Erica got ready at Costa d’Este Beach Resort and Spa for the day. Kristen Weaver photography was there and able to capture all the exciting moments while getting ready. Her bridesmaids wore their matching floral robes during the process. While the bride had her signature white robe. As for the dresses the bridesmaids had a nude dress with beading all over. The bride had a strapless tight-fit dress that also had beading detail throughout. The groom and his groomsmen wore grey suits for the day with a white undershirt and black tie.

The walk to say I do

With the lush greenery around and the sun out the ceremony begins. Guests file in and take a seat in our French Country Chairs that line the aisle. Music plays and everyone rises. Erica begins her walk down the aisle with her father at her side. Austin looks on and gets emotional as he sees his future wife walk towards him. Heartfelt vows were then shared between the two of them. Before the final I Do’s they share a quick prayer before they get to seal the deal with a kiss. Hand in hand the couple exits the ceremony as now husband and wife.

Rustic reception

The ceremony is complete, the vows are exchanged, and now it’s time to celebrate! As the doors open and you walk in you’re greeted by a rustic vision. There are long wooden tables with greenery, acting as a table runner down the center. Within the greenery are candles and flowers placed throughout. Sitting atop the table are our Champagne Glitter Glass Chargers and Amy Gold Fine China with the Baroque Gold Flatware beside the plates and the Gold Rim Stemware close by. Our Gold Chiavari Chairs with Ivory Pads surround all the tables throughout the venue. The couple chose a beautiful 3 tier cake which was displayed on our Mahogany Farm Table.

Toasts and Dancing

Wedding toasts are more than just clinking glasses and downing champagne. It’s a chance for the people closest to the couple to give them a heartfelt message and express their good wishes. The toasts were given and then it was time for dancing. The dance floor was outside in the open. There were string lights draped over to add ambiance and continue with the rustic wedding feel. Erica and Austin shared their first dance and then were both able to share a dance with their parents.

The Send Off

Guests lined the walkway as the couple passed under the arch with lights. They watched them walk out as husband and wife and cheered. No better way to end the night. Congratulations to the couple!
