Kelsey + Stephen
Kelsey and Stephen got engaged and started planning their dream day. When it came to what they envisioned they realized the Don Cesar would be the perfect location. It was an ideal match with the amazing views and the ocean within walking distance. While also having a color palette of pastel pink and whites, there’s no better place than the pink palace itself. Parties A’ La Carte took the reigns and planned the day perfectly. Let’s take a look back at the memories captured by Photography by Avery, and see how this Pink Wedding at The Don Cesar played out.
Welcome party
Family and friends gathered from all around to be there for Stephen and Kelsey’s big day. Then, upon arriving the couple held a welcoming party to allow guests to catch up with one another and enjoy the night before the wedding. With the tasty food, amazing drinks, and spectacular views of the bay the night turned out to be a hit. They even had a band to perform, which kept the guests dancing through the evening.
The big day
The wedding party arrived at the Pink Palace on the morning of the big day and began prepping for the ceremony. With not a cloud in the sky, it truly was the perfect day for a wedding. Kelsey and her bridesmaids got hair and makeup done to start and they all came out looking gorgeous. Then, they took to the balcony popped a bottle of champagne, and toasted to the bride. There’s nothing better than sharing laughter and making memories with the people closest to you. Meanwhile, Stephen and his groomsmen suited up in their black tuxedos. Once ready they made their way down to the lounge to also share a toast with their friend and congratulate him on his big day.
Saying I Do
In the courtyard of the Don Cesar excitement buzzes as the ceremony nears. Guests are in awe of the stunning white walkway that leads to the rose-filled arch at the end of the aisle. Once ready, the groom begins his walk down the aisle, followed by the wedding party. Then, the balcony doors open and the radiant bride walks out in the arms of her parents and makes her way to her future husband. They give their blessing and give her over to Stephen so they can start their forever together. Not a dry eye is left in the crowd once they say their vows and share their first kiss as husband and wife.
Reception
Upon entering the ballroom you’re greeted by chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, white linens draped elegantly on the back wall and our Super King Folding Tables and round tables draped in pastel pink placed throughout the room. Our Gold Napoleon Chairs and Ivory pads surround the tables. The grand ballroom was a sea of twinkling lights and elegant décor. As the doors swung open, a hush fell over the crowd. All eyes were on the newlyweds, who were about to make their grand entrance. Once they entered the groom whisked his bride onto the dancefloor for their first dance. Followed by speeches and well wishes to the happy couple. None Other band then took to the stage and rocked the house down for the remainder of the night.
